Just when you thought the L train had enough sagas, a new wrench gets thrown onto the tracks. As of today, there will be no weeknight service between Bushwick and Manhattan for eight weeks. That’s not inconvenient for commuters…at all. Service between the Broadway Junction and Manhattan will stop at 10:45 pm through 5 am, from January 28 through March 18.
Who do you have to thank? Cuomo’s cancelled L train shutdown plan because in order to fix the tunnels in that proposed plan, some repairs must take place before the new plan can be put into action.
