Remember how dad always used to say you’ll get the best deal on a convertible in the fall? The same holds true for bicycles. If you missed the Ride Brooklyn and Bicycle Roots bike sales last month, you’ve got one last chance to find a late-season deal. There are going to be a lot of dealers looking to unload their summer stock at tomorrow’s Fifth Annual NY Bike Jumble.
From 10am to 4pm at the Old Stone House in Washington Park (5th Avenue and 4th Street, Park Slope), you’ll be able to pick up anything from beater bikes to showroom road parts from vendors visiting from all over the East Coast. Plus, the Bicycle Messenger Foundation, Times Up!, and WE Bike will be there to raise awareness of their not-for-profit bike activities. Before you go, be sure to check out our guide on how to buy a used bicycle.
