Start slipping on those lederhosen and practicing your oompah–Oktoberfest is upon us (it ends in the next few days, by traditional dates) here in Brooklyn and there is much beer guzzling fun to be had.
Despite Oktoberfest assumedly happening in October, many bars kicked off the fun this month, when it started in Germany. It being nearly October (how did that happen?), the German beer parties are well underway, but there are still plenty free and cheap celebrations to attend even if you missed the earlier ones. Lots (well, at least seven) Oktoberfest events, dinners and drink specials are going around across the borough between now and the end of the namely month.
Don’t forget your beer and vomit-resistant kicks.
