The good folks at Marketplace asked us to adapt a version of this Nanny Bloomberg list for their rad show on Tuesday, which represents Brokelyn’s first time on public radio! If you missed it, you can catch it at the Marketplace site, and hear Tim, Faye and Dave banter on about all the silly sarcastic things we think are more threatening than soda (“Did you know the Chinese don’t have a word for brunch?”) and to hear what it sounds like when three writer-type people are forced to speak into microphones. And maybe the coolest part? They played us in with “Ritual Union” by Little Dragon and played us out with “No Sleep Til Brooklyn.” MCA 4 LIFE.
