Get sleeved at Tattly’s new washable tattoo pop-up parlor to Boerum Hill

Would you believe that comes off in the shower? Well, a few showers. via Tattly’s Instagram

Did you cash in on a $31 tattoo this Halloween? If not, never fear — you can still get a pretty killer washable one.

Tattly, purveyor of seriously stunning—but transient—body art, is setting up shop inside The Invisible Dog Art Center in Boerum hill from November 14, 2015 thru the end of February 2016 (leap year, so you get one blessed extra day of stick-on tats).

The pop-up shop will have all of Tattly’s signature DIY application kits for sale, ranging from the intricately floral to the delicately minimalist. But that’s not all: there’ll also be opportunities to sleeve up in-house (by appointment) with the experts. Decor-wise, you can look forward to a Brazil-esque atmosphere replete with velvet loveseats, old-timey barber’s chairs, and a sputnik chandelier. Tattoo wallpaper too, of course, courtesy of hand-poke artist Tea Leigh.

Alas, much like the tattoos themselves, the store is only temporary. No word yet on whether Tattly will set up shop anywhere permanent after February, so catch them while you can at The Invisible Dog (51 Bergen Street). To book a sleeve appointment, e-mail appointments [at] tattly.com.
