1. Wander through history at the Battle of Brooklyn Neighborhood Walk, with Hunter College Professor William J. Parry leading you through sites in Prospect Park and Park Slope. (Friday, Grand Army Plaza, $12)

2. Get delirious at Purple Rain, a roller disco tribute to Prince, with kitschy contests, performers, giveaways, and lots and lots of purple. (Friday, Lefrak Center, $20)

3. Immerse yourself in theater at Tiny Hornets, a “musical folkloric spectacle” by The Drunkard’s Wife, with traditional dances, authentic songs, and strange surprises. (Friday, Rubulad, $10)
