2. Bring your best and ballsiest act to the Karaoke Gong Show, where anyone can do a song, a skit, a striptease, or something stranger — costumes and props highly encouraged — with clips of the 1977 Gong Show playing for inspiration. (Monday, The Keep, FREE)

3. Get a glimpse of what gals think at Make It Short: Her POV, a night of films directed by women, with a post-screening Q&A with some of the filmmakers, presented by Bushwick Film Festival. (Tuesday, Guadalupe Inn, $10)

4. Ready yourself for the end of the world at The Fuck You Revue: Mayday, a sexy look at our pending dystopian future featuring Delysia LaChatte, Tiger Bay, Deity Delgado, Kate Nyx, and more. (Tuesday, Bizarre Bar, $10 suggested)

5. Feel all the feels at Funny Sexy Sad, where Maya Kosoff, Katherine Carlson, Mo Fry Pasic, Benjamin Gassman, Emily Lynne, and Alex Guillen read work that’s either hilarious, hot, depressing, or some combination of all three. (Wednesday, Branch Ofc., FREE)

6. Have a huge laugh at Goliath Comedy, starring Aparna Nancherla, Andrea Allan, Oniyide Francis, Giulia Rozzi, and Kerry Overfab Coddett. (Wednesday, Cantina Royal, FREE)

7. Hear different sides at Take Two Storytelling, where each true tale is told twice: once the way it really happened, and once the way it should have. With Marc Abbot, Dawn Fraser, Gabby Shea, Tommy O’Malley, and Rupert Eyles. (Thursday, C’mon Everybody, FREE)

8. Take a long look at Brooklyn Gaze: Erasure and Revelation, a multimedia event transforming the Brooklyn Library façade into an animated canvas, with live video projections underscored by composer Paul Brill, plus a live performance by Les Nubians. (Thursday, Brooklyn Public Library, FREE)

9. Bring your two wheels to Transportation Alternatives’ Bike Home From Work Party, with 30+ vendors selling food and bike gear, Brooklyn Brewery beer, music, a “visual experience,” and a pop-up tattoo shop. (Friday, Pearl Street Triangle, FREE)

10. Move your body into the weekend at Brooklyn Contra, an old-time Southern Appalachian line dance billed as a cross between swing dance and square dance. (Friday, Camp Friendship, $12)
