1. Get dramatico at the In Scena! Italian Theater Festival, a weeklong event with performances across the city; tonight check out two performed readings: “The Woman Who Reads” and “The Healer.” (Monday, South Oxford Space, FREE)

2. Laugh it up at the reliably hilarious Night Train comedy show, guest-hosted this evening by the Kondabolu Brothers and featuring Rojo Perez, Chelsea Hood, Carmen Lagala, May Wilkerson, Chris Garcia, Danny Jolles. (Monday, Littlefield, $5)

3. Prove your S-K-I-L-L with W-O-R-D-S at Spell That Sh*t, a monthly adult spelling competition hosted by Tobly McSmith and Mister Lady; winners get fame and fortune, or at least some prizes. (Tuesday, The Metropolitan, FREE)

4. Admire art and artists at The Mothership’s Second Tuesday Salon, with presentations from artist-in-residence Claire Zakiewicz, Bergen Art Book Fair founder Cecilie A. Størkson, and experimental video artist Erica Schreiner. (Tuesday, The Mothership, FREE)
