It’s the very first weekend brought to you by our new Brooklyn events calendar, and here’s what’s on tap so far:
• Tonight, you can catch the Guerilla Girls at Brooklyn Museum, eat a meal while supporting a Bushwick Farm program or become an oenophile at the Brooklyn Winery.
• Tomorrow, you can learn the secret to Etsy success (don’t forget to read our classic post on the topic), hear a little lute music in a benefit for PS 321, or start getting your spring on with a glass of wine and a 20 percent discount at a groovy boutique.
• Saturday, there’s somekinda stoop-endous sale on St. Marks, a Goth party, and an artsy ice cream event for the kids.
• Sunday, Coney Island opens for the season with the blessing of the rides (good, they need it) and a Coney Island history exhibit, and an Easter party for the kids.
If you’ve got a Brooklyn (Brooklyn, people!) shindig happening this weekend, there’s still time for you to post it. And please help spread the word about our new calendar so everyone’s event gets the love it deserves.
