The ultimate beer, food + shopping crawl just over the Bushwick border

You’ve probably been to Nowadays by now—but what about the other excellent bars in Ridgewood? On Saturday, June 3, hit them all, along with the neighborhood’s best cafes and shops during The Total Ridgewood Immersion.

If you’ve never been on one of these daylong adventures with Brooklyn Brewery and Brooklyn Based, it’s one of the best ways to check out a new neighborhood or experience your favorite haunts with your beer-loving friends. You purchase an exceptionally cheap ticket and in exchange get a pack of WAM–walking around money–to spend throughout the neighborhood on your own, self-guided tour.

Typically Immersions take place entirely in Brooklyn. This year, they’re venturing to Ridgewood, Queens, Beacon, NY, Gowanus and West Harlem. (Tickets to the entire season, including a season pass, are on sale here.)

In Ridgewood, you’ll spend the day exploring leafy streets, generations-old bakeries, and laid-back bars like The Bonus Room, Milo’s Yard, Onderdonk and Sons, The Factory, Aunt Ginny’s, Sweet Jane’s and Nowadays. Find out the deals you’ll get just over the Bushwick border, then get a ticket!
