Add this to your very short list of reasons to go to the Upper East Side: free museums tonight from 6 to 9! Yeah, we know some of you exploit the Met’s “suggested donation” policy by paying a penny, but tonight you get to freeload without being an asshole because it’s the annual Museum Mile Festival, when there’s no admission fee at 10 museums from 82nd to 105th streets.
Participating are The Guggenheim, The Met, The Museum of the City of New York, The Museum of African Art, El Museo del Barrio, The Jewish Museum, the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Gallery, the Neue Gallery, the National Academy Museum School and the Goethe Institute.
