This weekend: Bob’s Burgers, Holi, Brooklyn Bloom, Armory

FRIDAY
8pm:
cast members from fox’s animated series bob’s burgers eugene mirman, kristen schaal, larry murphy, and jon benjamin show off their comedy skills and previews from the new season at the bell house, free (get there early!).

8pm: tonight’s kings county comedy hour at bushwick’s vaudeville park features nikki glaser, tony zaret, mark normand, kara klenk, adam lowitt, and host matt koff. free.

8pm-4am: celebrate holi, the hindu festival of colors with live music and throwing colored powder on your fellow dancers. 1260 Atlantic Ave, thursday at midnight, $10 for a ticket and a bag of color.

arrive 8-8:30pm (+ 3/16, 23): centralia: six stories + six cocktails: encounter the characters who refuse to leave centralia, pa, while exploring the brooklyn lyceum in ugly rhino’s interactive theatrical experience. $25 ticket includes six cocktail creations.

10pm-1am: sing along with common people! belt out your favorite tunes at the 90s sing-along. legion, free.

SATURDAY
10am-4pm:
attend workshops and exhibits on sustainable urban gardening – from growing food on rooftops and windowsills to reducing your carbon footprint – at the 31st annual ‘making brooklyn bloom’ conference. arrive at 10 am to register for workshops. brooklyn botanica garden’s palm house, free with $10 garden admission.

6-9pm: 30+ greenpoint galleries and alternative locations will stay open late exhibiting artwork from local artists during the greenpointers self-guided gallery tour. after party 9pm at tbd.

6-10pm: 19 bushwick art spaces stay open late for the seventh bi-annual ‘beat nite’ art-stroll/bar crawl, free

7:30pm doors: comediennes arden myrin and lisa delarios get their always fun ‘party machine’ on at union hall. tonight: hari kondabolu, nimesh patel, kara klenk, eric drysdale and adira amram + the experience. $5.

8:30pm: british atmospheric melodic trio daughter play with iceland’s lay low at glasslands, $10 adv, $12 dos

SUNDAY

12pm: the raspberry brothers provide live comedic commentary to a screening of point break at nitehawk, $11.

8:30pm: very different duos big deal, 2:54, and zaza play glasslands, $12.
