The coronation is nearly upon us. Scores of well-coiffed New York gals had their chance, the deadline was extended, and now only 11 remain, waiting eagerly on the door-step of borough royalty. All this dramatic to-do here is for the third annual Miss Brooklyn Scholarship Pageant, happening this Sunday, Mar. 28. The day includes all you’d expect from any such affair: the contestants on-stage, showing off their talent, intellect, fashion and class; and then an evening after-party to meet and greet the new queen. Which one of these will it be? Tickets are still available to come and see at Brooklyn College’s Sam Levenson Theater. The 2 p.m. pageant is $25, but $15 will get you into the catered coronation party at 5. The competition is the first step on the Miss America circuit, so see how the whole thing begins.
