The strange Sotheby’s Craigslist job posting hoax

This is what happens when you spend all your budget on fancy art

[UPDATE: Sotheby’s told Gakwer this was all a hoax and that they’re too fancy for Craigslist:

“We can confirm that it is not a Sotheby’s job posting. We don’t hire for a position of that title, and we don’t use Craigslist as a recruiting tool.

We have also checked with our colleagues at Sotheby’s International Realty and they confirmed it wasn’t them either. Our guess is that this is some kind of a hoax.”

Of course, it sounds like the dumbest hoax ever and we really want this to be true, so we’ll just pretend that it is]

If you need a new job and have some basic office skills, you might want to shoot your resume over to fancy art people Sotheby’s. Judging by their Craigslist ad looking for a new administrative assistant, they need you pretty badly, especially if you know how to use the copy and paste function on your computer, which is very very difficult, as we all know.
