Crowds packed into the cul-de-sac in front of Bed-Stuy’s P.S. 54 for Black Label Bike Club’s tenth annual Brooklyn Bike Kill on Saturday. The rowdy mutant bike rally included tall bikes, a roll cage bike and a multi-person one that seemed part steamroller. There was even a stroller tower featuring one of many terrifyingly dismembered dolls. We assume this monument was a way of pouring one out for the parents who couldn’t make it all the way from Park Slope. Aside from testing the bikes, revelers participated in an intense tennis ball fight which also featured flying pita bread, shelled peanuts, bicycle tubes, plastic bins, giant foam skulls, and the occasional airborne attendee.
