Here’s a welcome deal if you’re tired of wading through that pile of paper menus, calling up and being put on hold before you even get to order your food. Grubhub, a free, seven-city web site where you can search takeout menus, read reviews, order food online and find coupons, is offering a $10 coupon for first-time online orders. Credit card required, and only for restaurants that offer “online delivery,” but still, we gave a Park Slope address and 33 places came up that accept the deal.
The tip’s from reader Yolanda Solomon in Crown Heights, who wrote in that “Some girl was giving out these Grubhub coupons outside the Atlantic Ave. station last Wednesday… The hubby and I got $22 of yummy Thai food last week from one of our local spots for $12. In these times… this deal is awesome.” Thanks, Yolanda.
