Y’all had brilliant suggestions for curly haircuts, so here’s another query, from cable-less reader Andrew, for the collective Brokelyn brain trust:
Do you know if there’s any place—a bar?—in Brooklyn that has Mad Men “viewing parties,” AKA, has a TV that shows Mad Men? I don’t have cable, but I want to get into this show, which at this point appears to be the only worthwhile show on TV. I know I can probably watch old episodes online . . . but that’s not as fun. HELP!
Any ideas for Andrew, folks? Bonus for bars with show-appropriate drink specials (an old-fashioned is very Don Draper and a vodka gimlet very Betty, according to The Times).

Brooklyn Events has a weekly Mad Men viewing party at a Park Slope apartment (which includes cocktails!). Limited to 12 people and $5/per person. Sign up at http://bkmadmen823.eventbrite.com. To see more of their events go to http://www.bklynevents.com.
Get a Roku box from Netflix! It hooks up to your TV. You can buy the latest MadMen for $1.99 per episode (through a partnership they have with Amazon). They have all of Season 1 and 2, too. You can also buy the full season for something like $20.
i'm in the same boat as andrew, and was delighted to find that The Counting Room (44 Berry St BKLYN) says they are doing a screening every Sun at 10!!! Rocks!
Last week Sheep Station (4th Ave & Douglass) agreed to show it--free, of course. It went so well that the owner has agreed to reserve the back room and play it on a projector each week! Plus, they have good Don and Roger-esque drinks!
TBD in Greenpoint is a pretty sure bet for mad men! Nice space, lots of seating and multiple screens
It's nearly 3 years after this question was posed, but hey....Anyone know of a place to catch Mad Men on Sunday the 25th? I know there are some dress-up, cocktail parties out there, but I was actually hoping for a regular bar and some beer (ok, MAYbe a martini)
Looks like TBD is showing the new season http://tbdbrooklyn.com/whatsgoingon.aspx
Thanks Caitlin! -- I appreciate the tip! That's where I'll go for Mad Men.
South 4th Bar and Cafe on South 4th and Berry is playing it :)
Also Bar Halyards in gowanus.
Do these bars screen Mad Men every Sunday?
Thanks!
