If you’re craving some new tunes to add to your spring playlist, look no further than Pikoe, the Brooklyn based creative solo project from Rafael Sanchez. These four new tracks chronicle the rush and throes of “modern love and adolescent aimlessness.”
Pikoe’s debut EP, “Songs to Dance Alone To,” contains dreamy songs, layered in vocals with poppy hooks. Essentially, the music creates a lush, airy, secret dance party escape. Tracks like “Fall-N-Out” and “Suydam” fuel up on these elements, creating a rich, emotive, and addictive soundscape.
Check out Pikoe’s four on-point tracks below. You can expect a full length release, Mourners // Murmurs, in mid-2018. And, Pikoe is set to rock a secret dance party set in April (DM to get on the list, fam).
