Flea-market mania spreads to Franklin Ave.

Weekends were made for thrifting in Brooklyn. There’s the always entertaining Brooklyn Flea, tomorrow’s free-stuff swap at the BKLYNYard, Sunday’s two-wheel only Bike Jumble and now this: a new market at the corner of Franklin and Sterling in what they’re calling Prospect Heights/Crown Heights. Organized and sponsored by Bristen’s eatery (pictured), the flea runs every Saturday from 10 until dusk, through September 26. Nearest trains: 2/3/4/5 or C to Franklin Avenue. Find out more by calling Bristen’s, 751 Franklin Ave. (between St Johns and Sterling), 646-393-9422.
