You can never have too much pie, can you? The answer is no, pie is great. And while we usually shun competition in these parts, because we’re weak and shiftless bloggers, a pie eating competition is something we can support wholeheartedly. So imagine our delight when we found out there’s one going down on Coney Island on Saturday. Make some stomach room guys, because it is ON.
Here we were thinking a pie eating contest was merely a summer thing, but then again, we suppose there’s never a bad time to prove how much pie you can eat and how quickly. The details for the pie gorging contest are frustratingly scarce, but we know that it’s happening tomorrow at 2pm near the Air Race ride at Luna Park and that it’s part of the park’s Halloween Harvest. If you’re entering, make sure to do some jaw stretches, in addition to your usual jaw-based push ups, because with a high of 56 degrees tomorrow, you’d hate to cramp up in the cold weather.
