School may be out for the summer but that doesn’t mean you have to stop learning. Well, actually, we guess school’s been out for awhile for most of you, but still, the point remains: it’s never a bad time to learn how to use a PA, or for kids to learn how to make comics. And those are exactly the kinds of things you can learn the next two Sundays in Clinton Hill at the Make-it-on-Myrtle Workshops.
The workshops, run by the Brooklyn Partnership, run the gamut from bookmaking to beatboxing, and best of all, they’re free. Held in the parking lot of the Citibank on Myrtle Avenue and Clinton Avenue, the workshops will take place at either 11am or 2pm on June 30 and July 7. The schedule is as follows:
June 30 11am – 1pm
Papercutting (Ages 7 -10)
Bookmaking (Ages 5 & up)
June 30 2pm – 4pm
How to Scratch and Mix, DJ Workshop (Adults)
