On ongoing coat drive down in Park Slope collected 56 bags of coats on Tuesday alone for people in need after Sandy, but they aren’t done yet. Not because they’re going for a specific number of bags, just that the coat drive ends tonight at midnight. So they’ll be done in about seven hours. But between now and then, you can head down to 491 1st Street, in between 7th and 8th Avenue, with your coats in a plastic bag and drop them off on the stoop there. Simple as that.
