Could this be your road to a negative calorie pig-out? This Sunday, Oct. 18, Brooklyn by Bike and Vendr TV are hosting Gears & Grub, a day-long bike tour of Brooklyn’s street food, one vendor at a time. The group will meet at Prospect Park and wheel its way through Brooklyn’s digestive tract to Chinese in Sunset Park, Latin in Red Hook, Schnitzel and Green Monster in DUMBO and on to Williamsburg for Swedish meatballs and drinks at Eurotrash (a tentative list). This is from the group behind last week’s El Tour de Taco, which hit six taco joints over 36 miles in three boroughs, so Sunday’s tour should prove as full as your stomach can handle. The day starts at 11 a.m. by the Grand Army Plaza arch. Sign up and more details here.
