Brooklyn Bridge Park was already pretty great without free movies or soccer fields. Just the view alone would be worth it. But it has all that awesome stuff, and now according to the Brooklyn Paper it’s about to get a whole new awesome thing in the form of a climbing wall.
The wall is slated to be 10 to 12 feet high and will be put up under the Manhattan Bridge. And it won’t be taking up any precious open space, because the park will instead be knocking down a shed for the space. The city has a glut of those anyway, knock all of them down! So now all you folks getting ripped and attractive at Brooklyn Boulders will be able to take the show on the road and show off outside while wearing your jokey throwback NBA jersey.
