When I was just a wee brokester, the only free Christmas week entertainment available involved taking another tour through the Babbage’s at Ye Olde Ocean County Mall, test driving the new Super Nintendo game you didn’t get for Christmas. You kids in Brooklyn have it a lot better: next Thursday, BAM is treating you to free movies for the holidays. You can chose from two movies, complete with free popcorn and soda: Spike Lee’s Crooklyn or Gina Prince-Blythwood’s Love and Basketball. Both beat being forced to see New Year’s Eve with your parents. Teens can pick up tickets starting at 10am Dec. 29.
