Grand Street Restaurant Week has returned! After a very successful restaurant week this past February, the Grand Street Business Improvement District is setting up a summer week for you to fill those bellies with great deals on delicious food from various Grand Street restaurant in Williamsburg. From August 3-9, you can visit anyone of the 16 participating restaurants for lunches as cheap as $10 to dinners that will only run you about $30. We know, you’re probably drooling all over your phone, keyboard, or stranger on the train while reading this. So much so, you don’t know which ones to choose. You can’t go wrong with any, but let us offer some recommendations to help you out.
Instead of making yourself burgers on the pan (just never as good as the grill), you can head to Bahia and for just $7, munch on their California Burger (a burger topped with bacon, jack cheese sliced avocado and ranch Dressing). Or if you’re in a more Thai mood, we can’t recommend enough Lily Thai and their Gai Yang (sweet BBQ chicken with sweet chili sauce on top), which will only run your pockets for $7.50. If you (for once) packed a good lunch, the good news is Grand Street Restaurant Week also has good dinner deals. I don’t think Trader Joe’s frozen chicken is going to cut it, besides it’s summer, so the stove should be off for as long as possible.
The Grand Bar & Grill is serving a three course meal of an appetizer, entree and dessert for only $25. If you want some Latin American cuisine Bahia is serving up a three course meal of their own for only $20, with numerous options for each course. Remember, you’ve only got a week to take advantage of all these deals, so don’t complain to your friends that Williamsburg is too expensive when you can get full for less than what you’ll spend on a date to the movies, for once.
