Calling all scream queens!
Do you have visions of staring in a cinematic masterpiece of the strange, the dark, the macabre, or just the absurd? Well, my little celluloid queens (and kings!), the moment is now. Troma Entertainment, the independent film company known for producing low-budget, campy, satirical horror films is gearing up for a new movie. Famous Troma b-movies like The Toxic Avenger were filmed in Brooklyn. For example, in the film, Brooklyn’s St. George’s Health & Racquet Club masquerades as the Tromaville Health Club.
And, we think you should test out your talents at the next casting call for latest project, Shakespeare’s Shitstorm. The film will be a campy retelling of The Tempest, which means it’ll be amazing, hilarious, and bad ass.
Want the full deets? Peep this casting call notice below and contact tempest@troma.com to schedule an audition or apply for a crew role. While Troma’s offices are Long Island City based, we heard they’re on the hunt for new, cool talent straight from Brooklyn. Full disclosure: the roles are marked as paid and unpaid, and we’re not sure for which jobs.
