Help rescued dogs by drinking beer at this Brooklyn Brewery book signing tomorrow

The internet has ruined the financial models for many an industry, yet despite the proliferation of totally free puppy pictures online, the market for printed photobooks featuring nothing but good boys remain in-demand. No technology can replace beer (right?), and together, dogs and brew make for one delicious event.

Brooklyn Brewery is hosting a Puppies N’ Pints celebration tomorrow, honoring man’s best friend with a book release party for The Dogist Puppies featuring a visit from some of the friendliest, most adoptable puppies over at Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue (motto: “Saving badass dogs from idiot humans.”) The book, a coffee table-ready sequel to The Dogist featuring “documentary-style” portraits of a variety of puppy’s and their “distinct character and spirit.” The portraits are organized by themes like Ears, Cones of Shame and Fancy Outfits.

The event will be taking place tomorrow, Tuesday, October 3 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Beer Book bar Brooklyn Brewery (79 North 11th St. in Williamsburg). There’s a $15 suggested donation to support Badass Brooklyn’s rescue efforts but tickets are free, just RSVP on Eventbrite. Buy a book (list price $24.95) and be entered to win a one-on-one photo session with your own dog and to be featured on The Dogist’s Instagram.
