Unruly’s Friday Night Feature

Dec 7, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

A welcoming community with a bohemian flare, local art on the walls for sale and a great atmosphere. Spotlighting three intimate performances.

Marcus Jade hails from Indianapolis, Indiana. A singer-songwriter and guitar player who started self-learning his way around a guitar at 14 years old. His appreciation of music allowed him to mesh with many outfits across genres, from Hip-Hop, to Punk, to Metal, to Zydeco, before settling into his own skin. This expression found him re-igniting his love and passion for blues music, writing and composing his own music. Currently living and jamming in Brooklyn, he has found a steady rhythm between offering his medicine at shows across the New York City metro area and producing more songs.

Crystal Speros is originally from San Diego and now lives in Brooklyn where she studies at the New School of Jazz. She draws influence from a wide variety of genres, spanning from artists such as Corinne Bailey Rae, Aretha Franklin, Donny Hathaway, Tom Jobim, and Thelonious Monk. She is excited to share her craft and vulnerabilities in an open and intimate setting.

The Unruly Collective embraces an artistic, collective lifestyle, allowing art and the practice of art, to guide our principals of living. We believe that if everyone owned or created just one piece of art, it would transform the world.
