NYC’s favorite family street fair returns to PS 295
Cool vehicles, food trucks, kids crafts and activities, music and more!

When: Saturday, May 18 11am – 5pm
Where: 18th St. & 6th Ave. in South Slope, Brooklyn

On Saturday, May 18, 2019 the PTA of PS 295 – The Studio School of Arts & Culture – will present the ninth annual Touch-a-Truck Brooklyn event (http://ps295touchatruck.weebly.com/). At this unique street fair, NYC kids and families will get up close and personal with a wide variety of special cars and vehicles including: emergency trucks, service vehicles, construction equipment, vintage vehicles, a race car, and other cool cars. Food trucks, bouncy houses, music, crafts, free activities and more to round out the day. Touch-a-Truck Brooklyn is a fundraiser to support academic, arts and enrichment programs at PS 295.

When: Saturday, May 18, 2019, 11 am – 5pm, rain or shine
Where: 18th St between 6th & 7th Aves in South Slope, Brooklyn (in front of PS 295)
Advance Tickets (online): $8 per person; $30 four pack; $10 all-day bouncy house pass
Tickets at the Door: $10 per person; $35 four pack; $10 all-day bouncy house pass or $3/bounce. Infants worn are free. Tickets required for both kids and adults. Cash only at the door.

Food will be available from favorites YOGO NYC, Gorilla Cheese NYC, and Yankee Doodle Dandy’s.

Activities for ALL ages include Giocare art in motion-wheels & gears, Slope Pediatrics Build-A-Truck, Live band performances from School of Rock, Brooklyn Game Lab Battle Lab and board games, Textile Arts Center “I Touched a Truck” silk screening, Live band performance by Brooklyn Music Factory and The Tiny Scientist Slime Zone. Also live DJ, bouncy house zone, hard-hat giveaways and Touch-a-Truck tees.

Presented annually since 2011, Touch-a-Truck Brooklyn draws more than 3,000 guests each year. The event is staged along the entire length of a city block as well as interior and exterior spaces at PS 295 with a variety of activities to ensure a great day for all.
