Ophira Eisenberg and Adam Wade, two of the premiere storytellers on the New York City scene come together for a night of hilarious and heartfelt stories wrapped around the theme SCAR TISSUE.


Ophira Eisenberg is a comedian, writer, and host of NPR’s hit trivia comedy show, Ask Me Another where she has interviewed and played silly games with the likes of Sir Patrick Stewart, Connie Britton, Weird Al, Josh Groban, George Takei, Ethan Hawke, Ellie Kemper, Lewis Black, Uzo Aruba and more. She has appeared on HBO’s Girls, Comedy Central & @midnight, The Late Late Show, The Today Show, and VH-1. Ophira’s debut memoir, Screw Everyone: Sleeping My Way to Monogamy was optioned for a feature film with Zucker Productions. She is also a regular host and teller with The Moth and released her second comedy album BANGS! on Comedy Dynamics.

Adam Wade has been a fixture in both the New York City storytelling and comedy scenes for the past 13 years. He is the winner of 20 SLAMS at The Moth (18 StorySLAM victories and 2 GrandSLAM Championships) with 20 different winning stories. He has toured across North America with The Moth Main Stage and has appeared on The Moth Radio Hour, and The Moth Podcast. Adam is a regular on the legendary comedic storytelling show Nights of Our Lives at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. He has also been part of such shows as Magnet Theater’s Armando Diaz Experience, UCB’s Asssscat 3000, Night Train with Wyatt Cenac, Big Terrific, The Liar Show, Mortified, and RISK, and has been featured in The New Yorker. Adam has been performing his Time Out New York Magazine’s Critic’s pick “You can’t not like him!” monthly solo show The Adam Wade from NH Show since January 2010. The show is also a frequent New York Times ‘Comedy Pick of the Week’ and was part of Ruth Pennebaker’s New York Times feature. His debut comedy album ‘The Human Comedy’ is available on iTunes and Google Play.
