Climate Crisis and the Human Psyche: A Conversation with Judith Rodin

September 23 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

$15

As we grapple with both the physical impact of climate change and the psychological trauma of living in a civilization on the brink, how can scientists and researchers inform public opinion and drive meaningful change in human behavior and government decision-making? A research psychologist by training, Dr. Judith Rodin has pioneered a philosophy of resilience in the face of catastrophic challenges as the former president of The Rockefeller Foundation, where she founded the 100 Resilient Cities initiative, and in her book, “The Resilience Dividend: Being Strong in a World Where Things Go Wrong”. Join Rodin in a conversation with Dr. Elke U. Weber, Professor in Energy and the Environment and Professor of Psychology and Public Affairs at Princeton University, and advisor to the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
