#Snowpocalypse2015 in pictures

Old car + new snow = a pretty nice view. Photo by Patrick Phillips

The great kind of a good amount of snow blizzard of 2015 has come and disappointed many with the fact that civilization still stands. Which we agree, is a bummer. Rather than focus on that downer, we’d rather stare at a bunch of pretty pictures of Brooklyn in the snow, before that snow gets dirty with exhaust and god knows what else. For just a moment though, we had a winter wonderland, and we’ve got the pictures to prove it.

As night fell and the roads filled up with snow, but not cars. The streets felt slightly abandoned, but more out of a scene of The Warriors than I Am Legend. A few cars and one taxi that we saw dared break the city’s ban on non-emergency vehicles on the road, while one enterprising citizen on Washington Avenue tried getting around on skis.
