Does this new commercial make you like the Nets?

  1. Gosh, thanks for asking! Ok, I’ll start. I feel like it’s condescending, patronizing and just totally misses. It plays to a sense of Brooklyn being the underdog, which may have been true when the Dodgers fled for Los Angeles, but hardly anymore. If anything, people from Brooklyn have an outsized sense of self-importance, and not just the artisanal mayo eaters — you see it across income levels, ethnic groups and neighborhoods. Everyone reps Brooklyn like it’s a big deal to live here.

    did anyone else see that huge Nets video projection in Williamsburg right behind Kellogg’s last night? Is that the worst demographic targeting ever?
