How come every Brooklyn neighborhood doesn’t have one of these? We’re loving the new Prospect Heights coupon book full of deals at the fun shops and restaurants along Washington and Vanderbilt avenues. The booklet (left), published by non-profit Heart of Brooklyn, is not only a genius idea, it also looks cute. Inside are 46 coupons that map out a day well-spent (literally) in PH. Start out with a breakfast or lunch item purchase from Blue Marble Ice Cream and pick up a free small drip coffee, Monday through Friday. Or eat at Tom’s (one of Brooklyn’s top-five Saturday morning destinations) and get 10 percent off. From there, map out your route of freebies and discounted services: Wink Eco Beauty B will hook you up with a free manicure with pedicure purchase on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Brooklyn Bike and Board will give you 15 percent off. Tykes get gifts from the Brooklyn Children’s Museum for 10 percent off. The Forest Floor also offers 10 percent your floral purchase. Get a free mini-burger with drink purchase at Barrette; score a free glass of wine or dessert with an entrée from Amorina, or take home two bottles of wine for $10 from Love Liquors and Wine. Cap it off with some $1 draft beers from Plan B.
Coupons are good through June 30, and they can be printed from the web at http://heartofbrooklyn.org/couponbook or picked up at the Heart of Brooklyn offices (789 Washington Ave.).

The $1 pint coupon from Plan B was well worth picking up the entire booklet.
