BK Top 5: The best things to do tonight, from beer trivia to do-gooder comedy

How many years was Rheingold married to the Mets? It’s a good thing to know for tonight

It’s Wednesday, and aside from the good news of the week being half over, it’s also not raining or threatening to rain. Honestly, a summer day where it rains or threatens to and messes with your outdoor plans or general enjoyment of the sun should be stricken from the record and we should be given another summer day. I’ll work on the logistics of making that work, you do one of the fun things to do tonight that have been pulled from the Brokelyn Event Calendar.

CELEBRATE BROOKLYN: WILLIE NELSON AND OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW
If there’s anything to be sad about today, it’s that this is officially the end of Celebrate Brooklyn this season. Saturday marked the end of the free concerts, but you can sit in the grass outside the bandshell (using a location from this handy guide) and listen to the red headed stranger himself, Wille Nelson, sing some outlaw country. After that, it’s just a lot of sadly looking at an empty bandshell until next year.
7pm, Prospect Park Bandshell, FREE

SUMMERSCREEN PRESENTS: LABYRINTH
You know how it is when you’re a #teen stuck watching a younger sibling. Try as you might to not do it, you inevitably wind up letting them get kidnapped by David Bowie and you have to complete a dangerous maze to save them. The whole relatable tale is told again tonight, at another finale, this time the last SummerScreen of the year.
6pm, McCarren Park, Bedford Avenue and North 12th Street, Williamsburg, FREE

BEER GEEK TRIVIA FEATURING BALLAST POINT
Do you know everything there is to know about beer? I don’t only mean things like what it’s made of and how drinking tallboys makes you feel like a cowboy. I mean do you know about it’s pop culture and New York City and American history legacy? In that case, Beer Geek Trivia is right for you. Or if you just want to have some fun and also want cheap Ballast Point, or swag from them, Beer Geek Trivia is also right for you.
8pm, Glorietta Baldy, 502 Franklin Avenue, Bed-Stuy, FREE

TEA AND TRANSITION, BY NICOLA JANE CHASE
The process when transitioning genders is a personal and compelling story that involves experiencing life from a brand new perspective. The experience would probably make a great book, and hey, look at that, Nicola Jane Chase wrote a book about her transition from male to female. It sounds like it has plenty of hijinks but also has stories of friends accepting or rejecting her, the first love connection she made while transitioning and the story of how she broke the news to her 80-year-old mother and rebuilt their relationship following the disclosure.
7pm, powerHouse Arena, 37 Main Street, DUMBO, FREE

WOODSTOCK COMEDY FESTIVAL PRESENTS: BRING IT!
Want to laugh and do some good at the same exact time? Sometimes that’s not possible, seeing as humor often comes out of some kind of pain or uncomfortable situatuon. Tonight though, you can see some of BK’s favorite comics like Aparna Nancherla, Naomi Ekperigin and Dan Soder, while helping domestic violence survivors by bringing toiletry items with you that will go towards charities that the Woodstock Comedy Festival supports. Two birds, one stone, but you’re not killing. It’s more like hugging two birds with one stone.
7:30pm, Littlefield, 622 Degraw Street, Gowanus, $12 with requested toiletry item
