After attending Underground Rebel Bingo Club for the first time last month, I learned two things: 1- I oddly enjoy being assaulted by strangers with markers (“That’s Michigan!” Exclaimed the girl who had just ripped up my T-shirt and frantically scrawled a green jumble of lines on my chest); and 2- I have a strange urge to walk around Gowanus in a full-sized panda suit, humidity be damned.
