What is it: An East Williamsburg low-lit hangout with a living room layout and duck obsession.
Why we love it: It’s slightly off the well-traversed Williamsburg strip of drinking holes without needing a bus or train transfer to get to it. For that reason, you’re much more likely to find a friendly regular to chat with while you pick your poison rather than be jostled like a human version of that arcade claw game.
Who to bring: Anyone who believes Williamsburg starts and ends on Bedford Avenue. Design fiends (the place is filled with vintage furniture and eccentricities). Duck lovers.
What to order: A Moscow mule. Or go for one of the beer and shot specials, starting at $5.
Fun Fact: In case you thought chivalry was dead, DuckDuck hosts weekly ladies nights on Wednesday’s, which gets you two-for-one Rolling Rocks, Narragansetts, and well drinks.
