1. Look up at Dark Is The Night, an evening of aerial cabaret featuring performances by The Lady Bats, Skyz the Limit, The Heavenly Bodies and more. (Friday, Big Sky Works, $25)

2. Otaku and Harajuku meet at Japan Fest J-Anime Night. Enjoy the nights of festive fun with a Japanese cosplay twist on the American Halloween costume party with anime themed singers, dancers, performers, etc. (Friday & Saturday, The Muse, $45)

3. Maybe VR can hurt you at the Ghoul 3D World Interactive Haunted House, leveraging immersive physical installations, 360 projections, and surround ambisonic sound, guests will be plunged into a captivating set of grotesque yet surprisingly alluring realms. (Friday & Saturday, Future Space, $31)

11. Those aren’t just costumes at Peelander-Z, Toranavox, Realistic Bodies, where the beings from Planet Peelander will headline their annual raucous Halloween party. (Saturday, Baby’s All Right, $15)
