Yes, the David Byrne bike racks can actually hold bikes

Now with any luck, Eugene Mirman will design bike racks for the Bell House.

For those of you who asked yesterday: can these artsy new David-Byrne-designed bike racks actually be used to hold bikes? Here is a picture of them in action, where they appear to be working just fine. A BAM rep told us yesterday the racks will “definitely” hold more bikes than the standard ones they replaced. Additional SUV parking designed by Chad Kroeger will debut later this year.
