As we previously noted, the sexual hijinks and financial emptiness (or is it the other way around?) of Girls is coming back to our pictocubes illegal downloads parents’ HBO Go accounts this year. Sunday in fact. And because they know we can use the money so as to better focus on our memoirs, HBO is going to give you a free year of rent just for following them on Twitter.
All you need to do is follow @girlsHBO and @UrbanOutfitters on Twitter or Instagram, then Tweet or Instagram a picture of yourself in your apartment with the hashtag #UOxGirls. Simple as that, and you get entered to win a year of free rent (defined as “a single $24,000 check regardless of rent costs,” so you can spend it on drugs presumably) and a $5,000 apartment makeover from hip young Republicans Urban Outfitters. The news is already out that Donald Glover’s character is a black Republican who Hannah crashes and burns with, so how else will she eff up her love life? How will Jessa adjust to married life? Also: what are they doing with the pictures? Will you care, if Viacom is paying your rent?
