Noon to midnight: Spread out over 10 blocks, hundreds of artists in over 30 curated group shows take part in Arts in Bushwick’s day-long festival, “BETA spaces.” Free

8:30pm: Bitch Fest! Rant and rave on the mic about whatever you want while a drummer plays behind you.  Freddy’s Bar & Backroom, free

WEDNESDAY
7pm: Independent Bookstore Week‘s (11/15-21) kick-off party features authors, music, refreshments, giveaways. Powerhouse Arena, $10 suggested donation

THURSDAY
