If you thought you’d have a chance to see the first presidential primary debate to happen in New York City since gosh knows when, too bad! Basically no tickets were made available to the public for Thursday’s Sanders/Clinton debate at the Navy Yard’s Duggal Greenhouse. But there is still high anticipation for the debate that leads into the April 19 New York state primary, not only because it’s happening here, but because it’s moderated by NY1’s Errol Louis, who might actually ask questions about things that matter to New Yorkers. And it’s about time someone acted like New York matters to the rest of the country. Anyway, if you can’t go to the Navy Yard, here are some debate watch parties at bars and elsewhere across the borough — you’ll need to drink as you watch and remember that somehow there are still 300 months of this election left.

The debate will air from 9pm-11pm on CNN and NY1.

Banter
132 Havemeyer St., Williamsburg

The soccer pub loves politics too so it’ll be showing the action on its big screens, with beer and drink specials.

Halyards
403 Third Ave., Gowanus

The bar will have the debate on the projector in the back room, with full sound and free popcorn, plus cocktail service so you won’t miss any zingers when you go to get more whiskey.

200 Columbia St., Columbia Heights

The bar is serving up drink specials to go with your debate anxiety all night.

Soda Bar
629 Vanderbilt Ave., Prospect Heights

Pacific Standard
82 Fourth Ave., Gowanus

The California-centric bar will be showing the debate on its big screen in the back and the small screen in the front; get there early for a seat. Note: Pacific Standard started selling food recently so you can’t bring in your own dinner any more.

Longbow Pub
7316 Third Ave., Bay Ridge

The Bay Ridge Democrats are hosting their watch party at this Bay Ridge Welsh pub, calling it “our generation’s Thrilla in Manilla.”

Threes Brewing
333 Douglas St., Gowanus

The brewery and beer bar is showing the debate in the main bar area.

Legion Bar
790 Metropolitan Ave., East Williamsburg

Another official Bernie campaign watch party, with TVs and an outdoor projector of the weather permits.

Die Koelner Bierhalle, 84 St. Mark’s Place, Park Slope
