7pm:
Celebrate vendrtv’s first birthday party at the cove with grub from calexico carne asada, schnitzel + things, wafels + dinges. $15 admission includes grub and a free brooklyn brewery beer.

7-9:30pm: Tarot salon—valentine’s day edition: Get a tarot reading from Lover’s Path Tarot creator Kris Waldherr and urban shaman Mama Donna Henes. Also, massages at $1 a minute from Fran Dunston of Fusion Therapy Spa. Kris Waldherr Art and Words studio-gallery, Ditmas Park.

10pm: Unsane + Made Out of Babies kick some serious ass at Union Pool. $10

SATURDAY
12-5pm:
Church of Messiah hosts the monthly Greenpoint Food Market, featuring tons of local artisanal treats (bacon marmalade, vegan pâté, jamaican rum cake, more).

1pm: Traveling theater company The American Magic Lantern Theater bring an authentic Victorian magic-lantern show to Galapagos. $10

SUNDAY
1:30pm:
US historian Nell Irvin Painter discusses her book “The History of White People” at the Brooklyn Public Library. Free.

8pm, 9:30pm: Two musical treats at Jalopy: A Capella duo Æ (pronounced “ash”) accompany themselves with dulcimer, accordion, and panduri; Nashville’s Allison Williams plays old-time clawhammer banjo with fiddler Chance McCoy. $10 each.
