FRIDAY
5:30pm doors: comedian eugene mirman brings his ‘pretty good friends‘ show to the williamsburg waterfront with they might be giants, todd barry, patton oswalt, kristen schaal, more. free.

7pm: fucked up, cro-mags, screaming females and pissed jeans play the house of vans free ‘house party’. 235 franklin (greenpoint), rsvp req’d.

8pm (thru 7/31): the eighth annual animation block party kicks off with a series of animated shorts + an after party with free drinks. williamsburg’s automotive high school (tonight), and bam (7/30-31), $10-12.

SATURDAY
9am: the third annual brooklyn waterfront epic ride starts at newtown creek and ends at the rockaways. highlights of this 40-mile tour include valentino pier, 12 flat miles on the shore parkway greenway + coney island. $10-$20.

6:30pm: dr. john + the lower 911, chuck brown and red baraat play the prosepect park bandshell. free ($3 sugg. don.)

8pm: the kill screen video game film fest explores the question video games through short films, a panel and live indie video game play. old american can factory, $10.

10pm: comediennes arden myrin and lisa delarios celebrate the party machine’s one-year anniversary with with janeane garofalo, jena friedman, james adomian, bobby tisdale, more. union hall, $5.

SUNDAY
1-8pm: rcrd lbl rock-a-way summer beach blowout with jeff the brotherhood, kingdom, friends, and djs. rockaway beach boardwalk at beach 96th st, free.

4-8pm: learning fiends brooklyn brainery celebrate the anniversary of the first s.a.t. with a crawfish boil, cheap beer, and trivia at city reliquary. $7.

dusk: free outdoor movie: dirty dancing (hanaba outpost)

9pm: hannibal buress hosts comedy at the knitting factory feat. ali wong, owen smith and brent weinbach. free.
