FRIDAY
7:30pm: the skint’s ooey gooey valentine’s comedy party! host kurt braunholer guides you through a comic tunnel of love with hannibal buress, claudia cogan, jessica delfino, the found footage festival and the little top circus and medicine show. enjoy cheap sweets and savories from robicelli’s and oaxaca, and follow it all up with an 80s and 90s after party dance! bell house, $8.

8:45pm: bike lovers: dress in red for the time’s up ‘love your lane‘ bike ride and after party. meet up in brooklyn or manhattan. free to ride, $5-10 to party.

9pm: v-day presentations at galapagos’ nerd night: manipulating perceptions on physical attractiveness, a virginity primer, thomas paine… and possibly juggling. $10.

SATURDAY
1pm: enjoy an hour-long chamber music concert on a floating barge at the foot of the brooklyn bridge. free.

2pm: sample the best wings in brooklyn as 15+ competitors throw their wings into the ring for the 2nd annual best wings in brooklyn competition. red star (greenpoint), totally free!

11pm: nerds + burlesque = nerdlesque. followed by strip trivial pursuit! the brick, $10.

SUNDAY
12:30pm: it’s a decadent sunday at babeland today where gurus of the ‘gasm show you how to sweeten up your valentine’s night with chocolate. free mimosas and brunch goodies, plus the first 25 guests receive free samples. l.e.s., free.

7pm: everyone’s looking to hook up at fips and bk hookup’s ‘who are the people in your neighborhood‘ pre-v-day dance party. $3 busch beer all night, trois pommes whoopie pies, free solerno cocktails 7-8pm. bell house, $10 adv, $20 with speed dating.

all weekend: ‘the susan sarandon picture show‘ continues with dead man walking, thelma + louise, atlantic city, bull durham, more. followed by q+a with sarandon and bob balaban. bam, $12.
