: the bushwick book club presents songs inspired by jim ottaviani’s comic book about famed physicist richard feynman. plus, ottaviani in person. goodbye blue monday, free.

8pm: tonight’s kings county comedy hour at bushwick’s vaudeville park features matt mccarthy, sara shcaefer, dave hill, rob stern, john harris, and host matt koff (the onion news network). $5.

8pm: expect a gender-bending alice, a puppet jabberwock, and nudity when the storybook burlesque crew interpret lewis carroll’s classic through the looking glass. galapagos, $15 adv, $20 door.

SATURDAY
10am-5pm
: the brooklyn flea’s 4th annual superstar dj record fair features vintage and special-edition vinyl from 20 dealers plus 20 vendors from london’s independent label market. smorgasburg, free admission.

12pm: mos def joins the brooklyn philharmonic along with idle warship (talib kweli + res) and others at bedford-stuyvesant restoration (1368 fulton st @ marcy), free

12-6pm: spike lee sells new and vintage 40 acres gear at a pop-up shop at 75 s. elliott place (fort greene)

9pm: the rural alberta advantage, hospitality and dear lions play mhow, $17

SUNDAY
12-6pm
: swap your old books for new reading material at public assembly. $2 donation and any extra books benefit housing works.

3-9pm: david lee roth + oktoberfest = rothtoberfest! bratwurst + german potato salad for purchase, german drinking tunes, and a vh-themed pumpkin-carving contest (b.y.o.). bonus: one free draft beer for those wearing lederhosen or a blonde wig. the diamond, free admission.

5pm-midnight: the brooklyn night bazaar debuts at the dekalb market with 65+ independent merchant and food vendors, a local beer and wine garden, a light and sculpture installation, petanque, and performances by yacht, monogold and trouble andrew. free admission, $12-15 for bands.
