Just when you thought Brooklyn&#8217;s summer concert lineup couldn&#8217;t get any better, along comes word from Marty that PUBLIC ENEMY is doing a free concert in Wingate Park in East Flatbush on July 30. With Salt-n-Pepa. Yeaaah boyeeez! Who knows what shape these people are in &#8212; Flavor Flav must be rocking a grandfather clock by now and Salt-n-Pepa probably describes their hair &#8212; but how could it not be the concert of the summer for those old enough to have It Takes a Nation of Millions on cassette? (Guilty!) In other breaking Gen X music news, Squeeze is performing with The Romantics on July 20 in Coney Island, and there&#8217;s some kind of Foreigner / Styx night on August 2, so brace for big LIE traffic that night.
