Michelle Obama pounded a beer can of democracy and crushed it against her head at last night’s DNC with a message that money isn’t everything, and gave a lot of credence to our suspicion that she is the best person on the planet at this current time in history. (And she really made a case for the right to bare arms AMIRIGHT??). This line hit close to home and sent the informercial audience in Charlotte into cheers: “For Barack, success isn’t about how much money you make, it’s about the difference you make in people’s lives.”

Oh, and she told us the future president once Dumpster dove for a coffee table. There’s hope for you freegans yet! If you haven’t watched this thing, do it; even our sarcastic asses can’t help but admit it is damn near inspiring. (more…)
