We know the entire fashion world worships Rodarte sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, but does anyone else think their Target collaboration—coming in December—looks just a bit dreadful? Marie Claire magazine scored some pics of the breathlessly awaited items and they look like something you’d unload at a clothing swap. And just for comparison, here’s the real stuff: Rodarte’s ready-to-wear runway collections from fall 2009 and spring 2010. We love a bargain as much as the next person and probably more, but this looks like early proof that not everything can be cheaped down successfully.
